CHALLENGES
TEMAK took over in a pressed delivery time to create a reverse osmosis system that will produce water of very low conductivity, deionized less than 30 μS / cm, to avoid stains in cars during washing. The brackish water is stored in a tank where it is chlorinated and through the feed pump with flow 1.9 m³/h is first passed to a turbidity filter to remove turbidity and then to an activated carbon filter to retain the organic charge and dechlorination.
Dosing with antiscalant agent is performed to protect the reverse osmosis membranes. The water then enters the reverse osmosis system producing 0,95 m³/h desalinated water achieving a 50% recovery rate.
The system is equipped with a CIP system for rinsing the membranes and for chemical cleaning performance when it will be necessary. The treated water is collected in the product water tank ready for consumption.
The treated water is now used to wash tour buses and trucks.
