World water Day – 22th of March

Taking the World Water Day as a pretext, TEMAK S.A. , a leading company in the water treatment sector, with over 40 years of experience, would like to showcase its message to the world, especially during these perilous times that both Greece and the rest of the world are going through, due to the climate change.

Reckless water consumption has led to a decrease in both the quality and the quantity of the remaining fresh water.
Water overconsumption, combined with the climate change, has resulted in water scarcity issues, which subsequently lead to numerous problems caused to both the planet and to us humans.

In order to cope with these issues, fresh water reserves should be used with greater caution, but at the same time state of the art desalination units, should be utilized to take advantage of the “endless” supply of seawater in order to produce potable water.
