PROJECT DESCRIPTION
In a 5-star hotel in Marmari of Kos, a water softening system was put into operation in May 2021, with a quality of 1800 ppm and a capacity of 312 m3/day, covering the needs for water.

CHALLENGES
TEMAK took over in a pressed delivery time to uninstall the already inactive system and to supply with a new water softening system that covers the daily demand, but also the peak supply of the hotel.
The water needs covered by two twin softening systems that are in on line operation.
The brackish water is stored in a tank and is fed through the feed pump first to the bag filters to remove suspensions and then to the softening system. The final water produced from the softening system is 269 m3 / day, which will be mixed with 43 m3/day of raw water to a total production of 312 m3/day of water of 10οfH hardness.
