World Water Day 2022

World Water Day was established at the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 1992. The decision was taken by the UN General Assembly on December 22, 1992, which designated March 22 as World Water Day.
On World Water Day, the dominant issue for TEMAK SA is “Water and Climate Change” and their unbreakable interconnection.
Climate change, combined with the reckless use of land by humans has tremendous impact on the biogeochemistry of terrestrial ecosystems worldwide. The lives of 800 million people have already been affected, and huge population movements are expected in the coming years due to hunger and extreme poverty. Nearly 600 million children, or 1 in 4 children worldwide, will live in areas with extremely limited water resources by 2040, according to a UNICEF report
Optimistic predictions about the future of the Earth are inextricably linked to the belief that people around the world must work together to protect the environment. It is important that people should join their forces so as to stop the devastating effects of climate change that threaten everyone’s home, the planet Earth and the precious commodity, Water.
By protecting nature today and giving focus to green development, we can ensure a better future for the next generations. Every move counts positively!
The rational management of water resources is the main lever for the development and prosperity of modern and future society. We, at TEMAK, intensify our efforts and provide high quality services and solutions, contributing in our own way, to tackling the problem of water scarcity.
