Rehardening Filters
UTILITY
The rehardening filters are used to enrich the water with calcium and alkalinity. To achieve that, the water flows (with the appropriate velocity depending on the application) through a granular calcium carbonate bed, which is the source of the necessary hardness and alkalinity as well.
COMMON APPLICATIONS
Post-treatment for water coming from desalination processes for:
- The production of water for human consumption.
- The production of non-corrosive water for general uses.
