Iron/Manganese or Arsenic Removal
The iron – manganese or arsenic removal filters are used to remove iron or/and manganese or arsenic from water. The filtrated water is suitable for use or further treatment, free of these heavy metals or the arsenic. This is achieved by the water flow (with the appropriate velocity depending on the application) through carefully selected filling materials on the surface of which the iron / manganese or arsenic is detained. The cleaning of the filling materials bed is done by backwash of appropriate flow rate. This is a completely physical method based on oxidation with air, without use of chemicals, which is an asset in comparison with other available treating methods.
- Removal of iron or/and manganese or arsenic from potable water and water for general uses for all kinds of applications
- Reverse osmosis pretreatment
ECF Series are small capacity filters, with pressure vessel made of GRP and an automatic control valve, mounted at the top of the vessel.
TFA Series are medium size filters, with pressure vessel made of GRP. Series 300 to 700 include an automatic control valve, mounted at the top of vessel. Series 900 to 2300 include external piping with separate automatic valves.
TFB Series are large filters, with pressure vessel made of carbon steel and external piping with separate automatic valves.
(*) Flow rate is calculated at linear water velocity of 15 m/h
