Cartridge Filters
UTILITY
Cartridge filters are used for water filtration in order to remove suspended solids and other elements responsible for the water’s turbidity in general. This is achieved by the water flow through cartridge(s) of suitable porosity.
The filtrated water is suitable for use or further treatment, free of suspended solids.
COMMON APPLICATIONS
- Filtration of water for general use and potable water for all kinds of applications
- Reverse osmosis pretreatment (small systems)
- Bacteria removal (with suitable cartridge of 0-2 μm)
PRODUCTION PROGRAMME
The production programme is complete, covering capacities from household purposes up to 88 m3/h, with a single cartridge vessel.
The FIW series apply to small capacities, with PP vessel and one 10’’ cartridge.
The FIM series apply to higher capacities, with stainless steel 316L vessel and up to 22 pieces 20’’ or 40’’ cartridges. For sea water or heavy brackish water, the vessel can be constructed from duplex stainless steel on request.
