Ultra-violet Disinfection

Last decades ultra violet disinfection has become an approved method in order to inactivate bacteria. The method finds a wide range of applications, mainly for water that we have to use a non-oxidizing disinfectant.

Indicative appilcations are:

• Table water bottling, together with 0,2 μm microfiltration
• Closed loop pure water for pharmaceuticals
• Household drinking water, after normal filtration at 1 μm
• Any other application needed an effective non-oxidizing disinfection
