Turbidity Filters

UTILITY

Turbidity filters are used for water filtration in order to remove the suspended solids and the elements responsible for the water turbidity in general. This is achieved by the water flow (with the appropriate velocity depending on the application) through layers of carefully selected filling materials on the surface of which the solids are detained.

The filtrated water is suitable for use or further treatment, free of suspended solids.

Cleaning of the filling materials bed is done by backwash of appropriate flow rate.

PRODUCTION PROGRAMME

ECF Series are small capacity filters, with pressure vessel made of GRP and an automatic control valve, mounted at the top of the vessel.

TFA Series are medium size filters, with pressure vessel made of GRP. Series 300 to 700 include an automatic control valve, mounted at the top of vessel. Series 900 to 2500 include external piping with separate automatic valves.

TFB Series are large filters, with pressure vessel made of carbon steel and external piping with separate automatic valves.

Containerized solutions are available on request as well. We can provide completely prefabricated and fully tested, fiberglass os steel vessel filter installations, in one on more containters, depending on the application and the total capacity. All systems are designed using computerized 3-D modeling.
