Granular Activated Carbon Filters
UTILITY
The active carbon filters are used for the removal of free chlorine, organic matter and odor from the water. The above mentioned substances are ab- or ad-sorbed coming in contact with the granules of activated carbon. The cleaning of the active carbon bed is done by backwash of appropriate flow rate.
COMMON APPLICATIONS
- Dechlorination and organic matter removal from water for general uses for all kinds of applications
- Reverse osmosis pretreatment
PRODUCTION PROGRAMME
ECF Series are small capacity filters, with pressure vessel made of GRP and an automatic control valve, mounted at the top of the vessel.
TFA Series are medium size filters, with pressure vessel made of GRP. Series 300 to 700 include an automatic control valve, mounted at the top of vessel. Series 900 to 2500 include external piping with separate automatic valves.
TFB Series are large filters, with pressure vessel made of carbon steel and external piping with separate automatic valves.
