Since July 2009, a sea water desalination plant with capacity to produce 960 m3/day, has been operating at the Public Power Corporation's site, at the island of Rhodos.
The product water has TDS < 300ppm and chlorides less than 130ppm and becomes feed water to the existing brackish water desalination plants.
